beCogent, one of the UKs leading providers of outsourced contact centre services, has appointed senior industry professional Charles Breslin as its Managing Director. He joins the company from Churchill Insurance and will be responsible for leading beCogents next major growth phase as it moves to become a £30 million business within the next three years.
Charles Breslin brings over 20 years of senior customer service and contact centre expertise to his new role, having held senior positions with some of the UKs largest financial services organisations, including the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group, Churchill Insurance and Halifax Bank of Scotland. Before moving to beCogent, he was a key player behind Churchills move to create a virtual contact centre resource to support the groups broad range of customer service activities, and was head of its Contact Centre Strategy group. Before that he worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group driving a wide range of the groups customer service activities and its contact centre strategy.

Earlier in his career, Charles Breslin worked for Capita, where he helped set up the BBC Information operation the front door for public response to BBC services. Before that he spent over 20 years with the Halifax Building Society as an area manager in both Scotland and Northern Ireland.
