The supplier of media processing, network interface, call control and signal processing products, Brooktrout Technology, Inc., has launched an enhanced support offering designed to provide next-day board replacement service through Brooktrout on its family of TR1034(tm) T1/E1 intelligent fax boards. By the name of Express Exchange Service, it is intended to increase system availability by enabling end-customers in the United States and European Union to obtain a replacement board within 24 hours.
“We believe Brooktrout’s service and support offerings to be unsurpassed in the industry, and this new service continues to meet the evolving technology and business needs of the fax market“, pointed Peter Vescuso, vice president, Market Development, Brooktrout Technology. “Not only are we providing our fax partners with a value-add service they can offer to their end customers, but we are also providing end users with peace of mind knowing that if their fax server goes down they will have a replacement board within 24 hours“.
According to the release note, this service is available for either installed TR1034s or new board purchases, and will be offered to end customers through Brooktrouts independent software vendors, value added resellers, and value added distributors. The Express Exchange Service can be purchased in annual or multi-year increments.
