1404 — Concerto Software acquires assets of Positive Software Systems

The provider of contact center solutions, Concerto Software, has announced that it has acquired substantially all assets and certain liabilities of Dallas-based Positive Software Systems.
 

Formerly a Concerto Software Technology Alliance Partner, PSS provides software solutions that optimize sales and collection activities for telemarketing companies, service bureaus and enterprise contact centers. The Company is the creator of ECM, a private-label customer interaction data warehouse product that was exclusively sold and supported by Concerto Software.

‘With the addition of PSS to the Concerto Software family, we strengthen our ongoing commitment to being a complete solutions provider for all of our customers’ contact center requirements,’ said Jim Foy, president and CEO of Concerto Software. ‘The acquisition of Positive Software enables us to continue to build upon our vast and long-standing contact center expertise, and furthers our position as the ‘partner of choice’ for all companies needing to optimize customer-company interactions .’

Edward Mandel, Positive Software’s president and CEO, joins Concerto Software as vice president, enterprise solutions . PSS’s Dallas operations will be combined with Concerto Software’s existing office in Dallas.
