The provider of technology solutions and services to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities, Baesch Computer Consulting, has been acquired by Unisys. This acquisition continues Unisys strategy of enhancing its end-to-end service capabilities through strategic, niche acquisitions. Most recently it has acquired KPMG Consultants of Belgium and its Optimum subsidiaries.
Baesch Computer Consulting, headquartered in Glen Burnie, was established as a privately held firm in 1995. Its former CEO, Bobby Baesch, will now be vice president and general manager within the Unisys Global Public Sector group, specializing in intelligence and defense offerings. Approximately 90 former BCC employees are expected to join him at Unisys.
