1231 — Avaya indicates Jocelyne Attal as Chief Marketing Officer

In this role, she is expected to lead end-to-end marketing, including marketing strategy, product and services marketing, channel enablement, and corporate marketing and communications. Attal holds a master’s degree in business and administration from the Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris .

 

On the announcement note, Avaya, a global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, says Attal brings in more than 20 years of marketing leadership and results in the technology industry, at IBM, Novell, and Gateway. At IBM, she was Vice President of Marketing for WebSphere, and was the driving force in establishing WebSphere as leading brand in the industry. At Novell was General Manager across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and had full line responsibility for the region. Most recently, Attal was Executive Vice President, Gateway, Inc. where she led the company’s marketing, sales and strategy for business and public sector customers.

At Avaya, Jocelyne Attal will have to report to Lou D’Ambrosio, Group Vice President .
