858 — Wicom and Bludis deliver contact centre solutions to the Italian market

Wicom Communications, a Finnish provider of IP contact centre and enterprise communications software solutions, and Bludis, a European value added distributor of information technology, announced a partnership under which Bludis will offer Wicom Contact Centre solutions to the Italian market.

“Italy, having the fourth largest contact centre market in Europe, is a very interesting opportunity to Wicom,” said Mr. Matti Laamanen, executive vice president of Wicom. “Wicom products are already in successful use in some of the leading Italian organizations, and with Bludis as our partner, we are able to present our offering to even wider clientele.”

The Wicom solutions are based on the Wicom Communications Server Suite (CSS), an open all-IP communications server architecture for unified queuing, prioritising, and routing for all contacts. It includes the functionality of a traditional PBX telephony system and offers a migration path to centrally managed and administrated all-IP business communications. The Wicom Contact Centre solution was firstly implemented to Bludis ‘ own use and now it is available to all their customers.
