Cable & Wireless launched a new managed service that combines two of its industry IP-convergence solutions, IP Virtual Private Network with Quality of Service (IP-VPN QoS) for the WAN and IP Local Area Network (IP-LAN), to provide a service covered by a single contract and service level agreement (SLA). The new service allows any size or type of organisation to manage their local area and wide area networks as a single entity.
The combined service also offers simplified network monitoring and reporting, end-to-end performance measures, with service credits if service levels are not met and a single point of contact for customer service and fault reporting across the LAN and WAN.
