Sakrament, the speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies developer for the Russian language, has announced the new release of its Sakrament TTS Engine, that delivers natural synthesised speech output and introduces new female voices called Vika and Oksana.
The Sakrament TTS Engine v2.5 introduces two new Russian voices that sound nearly as good as the real Vika and Oksana, the persons on whose voices the new Sakrament TTS voice modules were based. Meanwhile the Minsk (Belarus)-based business has confirmed its attendance at CeBIT 2003 (stand A07 in Hall 003).
